Dear Members,
You may recall the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) calling for submissions around the Guidelines for Safe Chinese Medicine Practice.
AACMA, along with many other contributors, submitted our recommendations to the CMBA surrounding this matter.
Yesterday the CMBA handed down their decision and findings into the Guidelines for Safe Chinese Medicine Herbal Medicine Practice.

AACMA member Anthony Brown has just returned from a health mission to Mongolia, where he performed up to 250 acupuncture treatments in one week at the local hospital. You can read more about his incredible story in this Sunshine Coast Daily article.

As part of a new campaign on the importance of acupuncture and dry needling services being performed by registered acupuncturists only, AACMA has released a range of website buttons for Members to add to clinic websites.

Later this year, Sunshine Coast acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner Anthony Brown will head to Mongolia, swapping his serene treatment clinic in Maroochydore for the rattle and hum of a Russian-built army truck that has been converted into a mobile medical clinic.  The Sunshine Coast Daily recently caught up with him to discuss his plans and pre-trip preparations.  Read the article here.
