That’s a Wrap on AACMAC 2025 - See You Next Year!

What an incredible weekend it was at the 25th Australasian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Annual Conference, AACMAC 2025. With 515 passionate participants joining us from across Australia and around the world, both in person and online, this year’s event was a true celebration of connection, learning and professional growth.

Whether seated in the buzzing conference rooms or tuning in from afar, delegates embraced the opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen our vibrant community. From inspiring keynote speakers to practical workshops and meaningful conversations, AACMAC 2025 reminded us why this profession continues to thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to all our members who attended, contributed, supported and helped make this event truly special. Your continued commitment and passion are the driving force behind AACMAC’s success.

Rosemary (Rose) Pinter Returns to AACMA Board

AACMA is excited to announce the return of Rose Pinter to the AACMA Board of Directors.

Based in Western Australia, Rose has been practising Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 1985. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and brings over 20 years of governance experience to the role.

Her extensive background includes serving as a director on boards across the national and state not-for-profit sectors, state-owned and private companies, and in local government as a councillor and committee chair. Rose has also held executive roles in incorporated associations and community organisations, and has been appointed to multiple Western Australian government advisory bodies.

Rose previously served on the AACMA Board from 2017 to 2021, and we are delighted to welcome her back as she once again lends her knowledge and leadership to our profession.

 

Bupa: Ancillary Providers Updated Website

Bupa are excited to announce that we have launched updates to our Provider website, we hope that providers will find it easier to navigate to the information that they need.

Moving or Adding a New Clinic?

Please contact our membership team with your new clinic details by email at aacma@acupuncture.org.au so they can apply to the health funds for new provider numbers.

Health fund deadlines to be aware of

  • Medibank only: Sunday 10 August 2025

  • All health funds including Medibank: Thursday 21 August 2025

Details required when Adding an Additional Clinic:

If you miss the above deadlines, please refer to the below:

Reporting Cycle for Health Funds

Ceased practicing at a clinic, please provide the address and the ceased date so we can advise the health funds to remove your details.

To check your workplace details or membership go to our website https://www.acupuncture.org.au/ then

  • Go to ‘Login’ at the top right-hand corner then
  • Click ‘Member Login’ to log into the website your Username is your email address on AACMA’s record and the password you created.
  • For the first time login, please click the ‘Forgotten Password’ button to set up a password.
