Wildlife Protection in TCM Coalition

AACMA is a member of this international coalition which is working to remove endangered species from Chinese herbal medicines and substitute  those herbs with suitable replacements. Their new website has been launched with AACMA listed as a coalition member and the sole member for Australia.

The Wildlife Protection in TCM is holding their 2nd conference on April 14th 2024, and AACMA members can register for free.

Seminar 1 of the AACMA ‘Practice Essentials’ webinar series with Stephen Janz took place this Wednesday 3rd April. We have received a huge amount of positive feedback saying the webinar was clear and easy to follow, not only helpful for beginner practitioners, but also useful for established practices to review their established businessnes.

AACMA members can access the AACMA Logo and Brands Usage Policy here. The document is designed as a guide for AACMA members on how to use the Association’s logo and branding, it can also be found on the AACMA website.

Please contact our membership team with your new clinic details by email at aacma@acupuncture.org.au so they can apply to the health funds for new provider numbers.

  • Medi Bank only update: deadline Sunday 7 April 2024

  • April monthly updates: deadline Thursday 18 April 2024

BUPA & NIB – only allow four practice locations, if you are wanting to add a fifth location the health funds require prior written approval. Please provide AACMA the reason why and how you can manage five or more locations.
