 The Melbourne Apothecary (MA) is expanding our acupuncture team inside MECCA’s Bourke Street store, and we’re inviting excellent Acupuncturists to join us in one of Australia’s most exciting natural medicine roles. This is a rare opportunity to practise acupuncture in a high-visibility, design-led, beauty-meets-wellness environment where thousands of people walk through the doors every week.

We are seeking an AHPRA-registered Acupuncturist for a 2–3 days per week employment role. You’ll be part of an established, collaborative team of acupuncturists, naturopaths, breathwork practitioners and coaches working in a truly first-to-market clinic–retail hybrid model.

Your clinical work will include full body acupuncture, cosmetic acu-facials, express ear seed sessions, and evidence-informed general health treatments supporting stress, sleep, digestion, skin, hormones and more. Alongside your clinical practice, you’ll also participate in Beauty Lab micro-workshop activations and in-store educational experiences with MECCA clients.

Opportunities to step into group facilitation, corporate events and MECCAversity presentations are available for practitioners who enjoy teaching and community connection.

Our treatment rooms are architecturally designed to evoke calm, luxury and modern apothecary aesthetics, and our on-site dispensary allows seamless Chinese herbal and nutritional prescribing. With consistently strong client demand, referrals from MECCA staff and exceptional foot traffic, this role offers organic visibility, steady bookings, and reliable paid employment. Practitioners who thrive at MA are warm, grounded, collaborative, confident in their acupuncture skills, and excited by innovation in the natural medicine space. Experience in cosmetic acupuncture is preferred.
