On Point Natural Medicine in Georgetown is looking for a passionate, dedicated Chinese Medicine Practitioner to join our busy Newcastle clinic as an independent contractor. What We Offer

• Mentorship & Induction: We know the first few weeks are a big leap. We provide a structured 3-week induction period involving observation, case discussion, acupuncture and pulse diagnosis training and supervised practice to get you confident and settled.
• Ongoing Professional Growth: Stay sharp with our fortnightly training and case discussions (Monday nights), monthly team meetings.
• Premium Facilities: Work out of our professional Georgetown clinic with full access to consulting rooms, reception software for bookings/payments, and standard consumables (needles, linens etc.) provided.
• Clinical Autonomy: While we provide the support, you hold the independent discretion over your clinical judgment and how you treat your patients.
• The Opportunity This is a performance-based contractor role where your remuneration is calculated as a percentage of fees billed and collected. This structure is designed to reward clinical growth and high-volume patient care.

What You’ll Bring

• Qualification: A degree in Chinese Medicine and current AHPRA/CMBA registration.
• Clinical Passion: Skills in acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, with a commitment to thorough clinical record-keeping.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: As an independent contractor, you’ll be motivated to network and market yourself to build your own patient list within our community.
• Professionalism: A diligent, ethical approach to patient care and a desire to contribute to the best interests of the profession.
• Requirements: Australian Business Number (ABN). Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Commitment to maintaining mandatory CPD hours.
