McKinley Medical Centre: Tuesdays 11:00am–5:00pm, approx. 7 patients/day. Sessions involve individual acupuncture treatments within a structured clinic environment.

Payment & Administration Locum invoices must be submitted at the end of each month. Any patients brought in by the locum remain their own clients. Patients booked directly through the clinic remain under clinic ownership. Payment arrangements are agreed in advance.

Requirements:

Current AHPRA registration as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Must hold an ABN and maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver safe, patient-centered care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

Established patient base and a supportive clinic environment. Flexible experience across private practice, community rehab clinics, and medical centre settings. Opportunity for ongoing work at Essendon and other clinics. Exposure to both one-on-one practice and group/community sessions.

This position is ideal for an acupuncturist who enjoys diverse clinical environments, combining private practice with community-focused care. You’ll be supported with existing patients and clinic infrastructure while having the freedom to manage your own patient care under a professional and structured system.
