Advocacy for Equitable Registration Fees for Health Professions
“Healthcare workers deserve fair and equitable registration fees.
Ahpra and the 15 National Boards don't currently lower fees or provide any proper mechanism or registration fee category to assist healthcare workers who take parental leave. This affects over 877,000 Australian healthcare workers, who are a diverse and predominantly female workforce.”
In solidarity with the AMA and the State and Territory branches of the AMA and other healthcare professional associations, AACMA is supporting this campaign to Ahpra.

Seminar 3 ‘Practice Essentials’ Webinar Series with Stephen Janz - 'Tips for Patient Management'
Join the webinar on 5th June with Stephen Janz to look at patient management issues and get tips to build confidence in your treatments.
This third seminar in the webinar series moves beyond business basics and compliance to managing patients. The best business plan is not much good if it is let down by difficulty retaining clients.
This seminar discusses strategies learnt and used successfully over 35 years of practice to engage and retain clients and build a referral base for practice growth. Stephen will also share some of his insights from his recent studies in artificial intelligence and how it can be used to support practice.

- Click ‘Member Login’ to log into the website your Username is your email address on AACMA’s record and the password you created.

AACMA Annual General Meeting will be Hosted Sunday 26th May 2024
Next week the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA) will be holding its 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM). This AGM will be fully online, giving all members the opportunity to attend virtually.
Online Location: Members who register as attending will receive the required Zoom link closer to the date of the AGM

Nominees for Director
This year we received one nomination for the one vacant elected director position and as such no election is required. The new AACMA Elected Director will be Yufan Zhou.

If you are unable to attend the AGM and would like to provide a proxy, please complete this form and return to the AACMA office by 3:00pm (Qld Time) Friday 24th May 2024. The preferred method is via email to aacma@acupuncture.org.au. Proxy votes are not for Director Positions, they only apply to business transacted within the AGM.
